(ĐN)- The Dong Nai January CPI rose by 0.94% against December as up to 10 out of 11 groups of commodities increased in prices, said the Department of Industry and Trade.

The figure has surged 18.5% compared to the same period last year.

The highest rises were in three groups: food and restaurant services; shoes, garments, and hats; electricity, water, fuel supply and building materials.

The remaining goods price was stable or had slight increases while the post and telecommunications is the only one to fall by 0.04%.

Thanks to the province authorities directions to stockpile goods for Tet the consumer market was rather stable in this peak time for purchasing.
