(ĐN)- Dong Nai’s delegation on Sept 12 organized a cooperation promotion conference in Moscow city within the framework of the delegation’s working visit to Russia from September 8. The event attracted the participation of nearly 70 Russian enterprises.

Speaking at the conference, Vice Chairwoman Nguyen Hoa Hiep of the provincial People’s Committee said that Dong Nai’s exports to the Russia have increased in recent times, but domestic businesses have yet to fully tap the potential markets.

She stressed that further efforts would be done to promote the province’s exports for the Russian market. Accordingly, the bilateral trade between two sides is expected to increase considerably in the near future. Dong Nai authorities pledged to create favourable conditions for Russian businesses to invest in the province.

Vice President Vardanyan Suren of Moscow City’s Commercial and Industry Office stressed that the office will serve as a bridge boosting connection between Rusian firms and their Vietnamese counterparts. He hoped that Vietnamese and Russian enterprises would get more opportunities to increase exports in the coming time.

At the conference, many Russian enterprises expressed their concerns about environment, energy and import-export policies.
