Dong Nai's CPI expands 1.57 percent in March

(ĐN)- Increases in petrol prices, and those of gas, iron, steel, fertilizer, consumer goods, materials for production led to a rise of 1.57 percent in the consumer price index (CPI) in March compared to that of the previous month, according to Dong Nai Statistics Department.

In March, among the 11 commodity and service baskets, 9 reported increases, with the highest seen in transport (5.52%), education (3.89%), housing, water and electricity supply services and construction materials (3.23%).

Meanwhile, prices of foodstuffs and catering services declined by 0.14 percent.
