Mrs Le Thi Tru, Nguyen Van Ky’s wife, Vice Chairwoman Huynh Thi Nga of the provincial People’s Council and Chairman Vy Van Vu of Fatherland Front Committee attended the event.

At the ceremony, the organizers awarded 86 scholarships worth VND1.5-2 million each to disadvantaged students in Tan Phu, Trang Bom, Nhon Trach, Vinh Cuu, Dinh Quan, Thong Nhat districts, Long Khanh town and Bien Hoa city, gave130 scholarships each valued at VND3 million to outstanding but poor students studying at Dong Nai and Lac Hong universities.

The scholarships aim to encourage the students to gain better results in study to serve for the province in particular and the country in general. Earlier, the front also presented Nguyen Van Ky scholarships to 258 local students.
